Hello. I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. I moved to California when I was seven. I went to Arcadia from 2nd grade until I graduated from high school. I got my BA in history from Cal Poly Pomona. I then continued to get my teaching credential in both math and history from Cal Poly Pomona. I taught at El Monte High School for six years and decided to go back to school to get my Masters in Education. And here I am. I have always been into arts and crafts so my hobbies now and in the past have been related to those, whether it's sketching or crocheting.
I am pretty bad with technology considering I grew up with it. However, I actually did not have my own computer or cell phone until after most people my age did. I only know the basics, and maybe not even that. For example, I still do not really even know how to use Excel. I believe technology is something everyone needs to know more about. It is integrated into our society. I personally do not want to deal with technology unless I have to though.
I am actually not getting my Masters in Educational Multimedia; I am getting my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. My personal goals are to finish the program wiser and hopefully apply what I have learned the last year to whatever I do in the future. I am positive I will be learning a lot from this class.
